Welcome to City College of San Francisco:

We are pleased that you have chosen to apply to one of largest most diverse community college in California. CCSF provides not only an outstanding curriculum, including over 50 academic programs and more than 100 vocational certificate programs, but also has faculty who are committed to teaching and providing student support services. CCSF is an inclusive community, where all people are enriched by diversity and multicultural understanding.

  New Students:

New Students must complete the enrollment process including placement testing, orientation and academic counseling before registering for classes.  After completing the online admissions application, you will receive an important email from CCSF with your new CCSFmail email address. All official CCSF communications, such as information about placement testing, orientation, and web registration appointments,  will ONLY be sent to your new CCSFmail address. For information about free noncredit classes go to noncredit admissions.
  Re-Admit Students (Former and Returning Students):
Students who have been away from CCSF for two or more semesters must complete this online application and may register for courses during the registration period by going to Web4. We strongly encourage returning students to meet with an academic counselor prior to registering for courses. After completing the online admissions application, you will receive an important email from CCSF with your new CCSFmail email address, if you do not already have one. All official CCSF communications, such as web registration appointments, bills and payment information, and financial aid information, will ONLY be sent to your CCSFmail address.
  Continuing Students:
Web registration appointments will be sent to continuing students’ CCSFmail email address. Continuing students may register online for classes anytime on or after their registration appointment through the end of the registration period. Web4 is available from 6:00 am to 11:45 pm, Monday through Saturday. All official CCSF communications, such as web registration appointments, bills and payment information, and financial aid information, will ONLY be sent to your CCSFmail address.
  International Students:
International Students DO NOT need to complete this application. There is a separate application process. Students with an F-1 Visa must go to International Student Website to apply to City College of San Francisco.  After completing the International Students Admissions Application, you will receive an important email from CCSF with your new CCSFmail email address. All official CCSF communications, such as information about placement testing, orientation, and web registration appointments, will ONLY be sent to your new CCSFmail address.
  High School Students:
Students currently attending high school with at least 120 high school credits may enroll in CCSF courses. After submitting this online application, you must also submit the appropriate forms and transcripts to the Office of Admissions and Records. After completing the online admissions application, you will receive an important email from CCSF with your new CCSFmail email address. All official CCSF communications will ONLY be sent to your new CCSFmail address.

How to Use the City College of San Francisco Online Application
To complete the online application, simply type your answers in the corresponding fields or select your answers from the popup lists (where applicable).

After you complete a screen, click the [Next] button at the bottom or on one of the sections listed on the left column to move to a different screen. Before you are allowed to jump screens, we will inspect your data on the current screen for errors or inconsistencies. If errors or omissions are found, you will be returned to the screen to correct your answer(s). Otherwise, your data will be saved and you will proceed to the requested screen. We also allow you to skip to another screen without your new data being saved. Be aware that if you use the Skip & Jump function on the left column, data on the current screen will not be saved and will have to be re-entered prior to submittal.

Once you have completed the application, click the [Submit] button located on the left column to submit the application.
